Option 1: Delete your account in the app
- Open the Book by LIFT app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion when asked.
Deletion starts immediately. You are signed out on all devices and cannot sign in to the deleted account again.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you cannot use the app, send an email to lifteducationsystem@gmail.com with:
- The subject “Book by LIFT account deletion request”.
- The email address you use to sign in to Book by LIFT.
Send the email from that same address so we can verify that the account is yours. We complete email requests within 30 days and confirm by email.
Data we delete
- Your sign-in identity (Google / Firebase account link)
- Your name, email address, phone number, gender, and location
- Your profile photo
- Your book listings, including their photos and pickup addresses
- Your recent searches
- Your in-app notifications and email delivery records
- Your device push-notification tokens
Data we keep
- Chat messages you sent stay visible to the other person in the conversation. Your name is replaced with “Deleted user”, and the messages are no longer linked to any personal details.
- An anonymized account record with no name, email, phone, or photo. We keep it only so conversations and listing history stay consistent.
- Messages sent through our website contact or early-access forms are not linked to your app account. Email us to delete them too.
We keep anonymized data for as long as the service runs, because it no longer identifies you. Server backups that contain deleted data are overwritten within 30 days.
